【Books by mail】Undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty members

We offer books by mail service as follows.


Eligibility: Undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty members of Musashino University 


Material: Books in stock

          (books in-library-only, journals, audio-visual materials, oversize items are not covered)


Mailing terms: Up to 5 items in one mail.

                        Able to apply as many times as needed. 


Application time: Apr 27-June 16, 2021

         Shipping will be suspended on weekends. 


Due date: 30 days later from shipping date


Renewal: up to 2 times via MyLibrary

Check-in: Use book drops or mail

 Remember when mailing items:  

1)Place the items in a plastic bag in mailing bag to avoid any pollution or damage.

2)Use JAPAN POST's Letter PackYu-Pack(parcel) or other delivery services with track and trace.

3)Return postage should be paid by user.

 ※COD (cash on delivery) mails are not acceptable.


Application: ・Search OPAC to find items to check out by mail

                    ・E-mail its holding library (Musashino or Ariake) the following information

                       using your university email address for identification. 

         1)Student ID, Name 

      2)Each book titles, holding IDs to check out

      3)Number of items to check out


      5)Phone number

Overdue books should be returned before books by mail or any new check out.

Items will be first come first checked out. We will email you when items are not available.  

Please be aware that it may take time to be delivered.
